The Ravagers series is next. Finished seven now on to number right about Adam and will be done with the Alliance and Will Stark. Will be sorry to come to the end but have enjoyed every minute.
So…am on book 3 of Ravagers and The General has just freaked out Silver (SPOILER: and then, you know… bummer, but his intent as a distraction, and all), but he (Gen. Jamison) said he was (& looked like) Will. I DO remember Ashley (his maker) mentioned Aliomenti. And I’ve not read it yet, but I know that the name of the 1st book (and at least 1 more I saw) had the same name that the General was mentioning. So, then… I get that the 2 series are intertwined, but I wondered, from the bit I read as a sort of back-of-the-book info intro, am I right in guessing that Aliomenti takes place more in Ashley’s time, when the mind powers were MUCH stronger? If not, could someone tell me where the 3 different times are in relation to each other, please? Would greatly appreciate it. Oh! Also, I am obviously nearing the end of Book 3 Ravagers and have both the 4th, and then also have the box-set First 3 Aliomenti Saga. Should I just go right on to Ravagers 4, or pause and work on the first 3 Aliomenti books? Thanks in advance and to the author: love your books! Your suspense-building is top notch!
Will Stark is the primary character in the Aliomenti Saga. Ashley makes her first appearance in the fourth book in the series. The Aliomenti Saga definitely takes place before the Ravagers, but as you note the two series are intertwined.
I think you can definitely enjoy the Ravagers series without first completing the Aliomenti Saga, but I certainly wouldn’t recommend against reading the Aliomenti Saga first; it will add additional context and depth to the Ravagers. You’ll definitely appreciate the scene you mentioned quite a bit more if you do.
I’ve read all of the Ravagers books, great stuff, waiting anxiously for the next one!!!
